★★★★★Five-star Google reviews
Good service is worth sharing.

There is a certain excitement to putting up a home in the Upstate. You can see why Boiling Springs is on the upswing. Residents are drawn to the way it blends a small-town atmosphere with the convenience of the wider region. Whether it is for the schools, a weekend at Lake Bowen, or an easy drive into Spartanburg and Greenville, the appeal is clear.

For the homeowner with a custom project in mind or a builder with a demanding calendar, one thing is non-negotiable: the plumbing has to be done right from the outset. Pro-Flo Plumbing is there to make sure of it.

Our New Construction Plumbing Process

We put in the work well before the walls are erected. Our process involves a close look at your plans and a discussion of where fixtures should go, while we coordinate with the framing, electrical, and HVAC teams to avoid any conflicts. The job typically breaks down into three stages:

  • Underground and slab rough-in: drain lines, sewer connections, and stub-outs set before the concrete pour.
  • Top-out or rough plumbing: water supply lines, drains, vents, and gas piping run through the framed walls and floors.
  • Finish and trim-out: fixtures, faucets, toilets, water heater, and final connections, followed by testing.

Each stage is inspected so that subsequent crews can get to work without delay. Precision is what saves time.

Permits, Inspections, and Local Requirements

Permits and inspections are part and parcel of new construction in South Carolina.

  • We adhere to the state-adopted plumbing code and have the county sign off on both the rough-in and the final work before your certificate of occupancy.
  • We keep our documentation in order so the process stays smooth and you do not miss your completion date.

Then there is the matter of water and sewer. If your lot is on the public system, we arrange the tap and meter with the utility. Otherwise, the county will not issue a building permit until the state environmental agency has given the nod to your septic system, which is contingent on the soil. And since Spartanburg Water has a cross-connection control program, backflow protection is built into the plan for your irrigation and treatment equipment.

Water Quality and Equipment Choices

Public water here is drawn from Lake Bowen and nearby reservoirs, treated with chlorine and fluoride. But for those on a well, the equation changes. It is best to make an early call on whether you need a pressure tank, a filter, a softener, or perhaps reverse osmosis for the kitchen sink. Building that into the plan now is far more economical than retrofitting. We will also size a tank or tankless water heater to fit your household’s actual needs rather than having you pay for capacity you will not use.
